One Stop Photo Op

Just North of Tullahoma is the George Dickels Distillery, and just outside their fence is this beautiful spot. Congrats to the Dickel’s maintenance crew!

This is the type of spot a photographer like myself loves to find I got out of the car to take a picture, and it’s a lucky thing I wasn’t using film any more, or I would have had to reload. ALL of the pictures in this post were taken within a few yards of my car.

The spot is just outside the fences of the George Dickel’s Distillery just North of Tullahoma, Tennessee. Now Jack Daniel’s is the more widely known Tennesee sippin’ Whiskey. (just West of Tullahoma) But Dickels is still hanging in there. Guess that makes Tullahoma the Tennessee Sippin’ Whiskey headquarters. hahaha

The first thing to catch my eye was this tree eating tree. One, it’s the only white tree in the area. Two, it seems to be in the process of eating the pine tree.

then there was the little stream near the base of that tree.

and the field on the other side of that tree.

and then where the stream crossed to the other side of the road.

and the field on the other side of the road.

and then back to the stream where I started, only going to the left this time…

couple shots looking down the stream.

then a few shots inside the trees.

and back to the car! I’m not sure I could have pointed the camera in any direction and not found some shot there. One of those special moments, beautimous!
